loose cv boot clamp on inside or outer boot

noticed a little gunk in wheel arch and it was alas cv joint greese had seeped out of the end of the boot, boot was fine....and i noticed the oetiker clamp was loose to spin round....I searched high...

well same thing happened to me, the passenger side was replaced by a febi boot kit and the drivers side by gkn, the febi side has a proper oetiker clamp on, the gkn side well seems to be too large...

Good thinking never thought of this at all...although i just used an old tootbrush and plain water to clean the belt and the grooves of the pulleys-they weren't that dirty either way....i will go and...

change the clip and the bush n bolt, that's what I will do again the next time i have issue on the passenger side door.....no harm at all apart from the few dollars cost and for me personally sorted...
