Maybe turning the steering wheel all the way (I dont remember which side) will help with the clearance. I had to do this in order to remove the strut.

When the steering is set all the way in either direction you might have to push the control arm down just a tad to get the shock out.

Try turning the wheel all the way to one side, This will give you more clearance. I don't remember which way to turn but this should help.

I didn;t know we had sensor for the windshield wipers water. I will take picture tomorrow.

Replacing springs is a hassle

I replaced my springs today and let me tell that it doesn't take 4 hrs like all the other posts suggest. Removing front struts was 1 hr, changing springs 6 hrs.

Don't buy crafstman spring...
