Believe me....it works just fine. You're putting pressure on the nut, not the actual fan. It will take the same force to free the bolt...hitting it amounts to the force being exerted all at once....

It did only take me 3 hrs to do everything which included cleaning out all of the oil in the spark plug well. instructions were very helpful. It seems to be firing OK...time will tell if I get that...
