californias license plate format is 1ABC123, or 1 NUMBER, 3 LETTERS, 3 NUMBERS

its actually quite a complex "algorithm" used by the headlights in order to turn, a lot of factors go into it. but yeah it does help when turning a lot, and looks much better than the fog light...
