Thank you for your input. My 330ci weighs around ~3000 pounds where my Honda weighs ~2200 pounds. On the Honda, I don't even miss it but I could see where this could become a problem on the E46...

Agreed on the boost! I wanted to go the NA route for my 330 but after adding a conservative turbo to my daily driver Honda Civic....I'm gonna have to turbo the 330 in the future!
