I would check spark plugs and coils 1st. try switching plug to a known good cylinder see if the fault travels with the plug then do the same with the coils.

The ///m has individual throttle bodies for each cylinder which means removing the entire intake manifold to clean, while your in there u can also clean the idle air control valve

Most use the oem due to the lsd friction modifiers added to prevent noises. Ive used redline before with no issues, never heard anyone use lucas or quakerstate in the diff of ///M yet
