It should sit a little lower when I'm all done, so most of the tire gap should disappear. It's a lot harder to get a big tire under these older cars, that's for sure.

Oh, and the red brake drum...

I'm building a V8 powered Corvair and will be using Style 71 wheels. I think they are going to look great.

On the E46 3-series, it included slightly stiffer springs with a slightly lower ride height and different shocks/struts.

I assume the same for the E90/92s but not 100% sure.

what's in the sport package exactly?

According to BMWUSA.com, the sport package consists of seats and wheels. No mention of suspension differences.

Is that true? Also, can anybody tell from the pics whether this car is a sport...

The 12's are H&R. The 18's, I'm not sure, will look later tonight. Both look very similar with beveled edges and the raised hub rib.

I have both 12mm and 18mm spacers AND the extended lug bolts you need.

12's work great on front or rear to fill the fenders. 18's also look great on the reat but you may need to roll fenders,...
