It will fit just fine but it will look a little off. The sedans are actually wider around the front turn signal section so the bumper would have a slight bulge if you were to put it on a coupe.

Yup, has worked for a friend for a long time. He had the same thing happen to him. 3M double sided tape alone won't do since a piece of the bumper is actually broken. Sure adding the 3M tape again...

You will have to remove the bumper and secure it from the inside. Duct tape should work fine and won't be visible when the bumper is on the car.

Are you sure they don't just require a roll bar? You can get a bolt in roll bar for fairly cheap and that will be safe on the street. I highly recommend getting some fixed bucket seats and a 4pt...

I think you are on the right track with what you think the issue is, getting codes scanned will really help. There are some ways to check the spark plugs and coils but knowing if you are mis-firing...
