On my 330 I just replaced the CV Joint, I think ECS Tuning has it for about $160 + shipping. Really easy to do. Just pry out the cover, clean off the grease to expose the snap ring, remove the snap...

No you do not need to mark or index it in anyway. Unfortunately it is a BMW part only. I got mine through ECS Tuning. I am not sure what you have available in Scotland.

Maybe for me it was the break in period. I only went like 1000 miles for break in. Then did a track event at Watkins Glen. I don't slip the clutch bit I also don't launch the car like a dragster.

The shop that did the work for me just did it. According to the Gripforce web site their pressure plate is a OEM pressure plate that they beef up the springs.

You can't do it with all single mass...

Never mind I figured it out.

For some reason I had set the mode on the ZKE module to workshop mode.
As soon as I set it to Normal/Default mode all the recoding worked perfectly.

I have a 2001 330Ci. Back in June I had new clutch installed with an after market clutch kit, Gripforce Stage 2 with single mass flywheel, sprung hup disk and a LUK self adjusting pressure plate.
