As far as I know the electrical are different, plus you will need all the fuel supply system of a diesel, the instrument cluster, and many other items that I probably forgot.

You'll most probably need to replace the fuel pump big o-ring. If it leaks, your car interior will smell fuel vapors :chase:

You can replace it with a generic D2S ballast but you'll have to run the wiring straight to the bulb through the headlight assembly. Are you sure it's the ballast and not the igniter?

The 330d comes with the larger diff and the ring is different size, as far as I know they are not interchangeable.

I paid around $120 for the OEM oil seals, bolts, loctite, differential oil, drain/fill plugs, and gasket sealant plus $100 for the installation and $40 import tax. I know install labor is cheap...
