Easy-out is good for kitchen cabinets - get yourself a proper Irwin set. At worst you can drill out the bolt and leave it out - there will be enough to hold the pan with no leaks.

There is no real cheap option for this swap. You should get a 330i differential and swap out the OUTPUT flanges - they just pop in and out.

Did you change the clutch and the flywheel?

Scan for codes.

Get rid of that "cold air intake", it is sucking hot air from the engine bay.

Check for cracked intake boots.
