Picked up a Grade 8 bolt at HD. Although they didn't have it in 55mm length so I went with 60mm. Should last another 10 years.

Just did this exact job on my own car and found exactly the same thing. Bolt & upper part of bracket completely rusted out. Bottom part of bracket looked nearly new.
