I stripped the rear lower shock mount bolt holes...

I stripped the rear lower shock mount bolt holes in the rear trailing arms.....I finally got a helicoil kit and was able to bolt up both shocks to trailing arms....I hope these things hold up in real...

Aughhhh....Stripped out both lower shock mount bolt holes...Finally got Helicoil kits and both sides done....First time with the helicoils; I guess I'll see how they hold up in real life...

Welded Plates in Trunk

I would look under the car above the rear sway bar where the rear subframe mounts meet the chasis...typically those plates in the trunk are done in conjunction with welding of plates to the housing...

typeflex could you clarify what you mean by welding in reinforcement plate...or you suggesting not only replace floor/rear axle carrier, but also welding reinforcement plates to the new axle carrier...
