there's no warranty involved, I just meant that if your car is out of BMW warranty, you don't have to worry about taking it to BMW just to keep it valid. You can take it anywhere and save some...

New source for trim coverings

Found this stuff as an alternative to new trim. :idea: Lots of options too. Check the Roll Ends if you order, should be enough to do all the doors and dash. Might need more to do the shift area...

It's the type of metal used by just about every manufacturer that will rust, nothing you can do about it. You can of course paint it or buy aftermarket plated rotors to solve the problem long term.
