came back today. $1300 bucks to get new harmonic balancer installed, including labor, also included the oil filter gasket, which was complicated by the supercharger; it had to be removed as well.

We think that all the startups on the car with the added torque of having to turn over the SC caused the wear on the balancer... the rubber...

No internal work on this engine... we thought it's only 6psi max so didn't see the need back then. Hopefully we were right. Its funny, it is just a commuter now though.

Definitely someone else is doing it. Swapping the motor would cost more than the car is worth. It just sat in the garage anyways since I picked up a different car last year. it will be a sad day.....
