Have you checked your Air intake tube where it connects to the ICV (Idle Air Control). These break down there rather quickly and cause a lean code because it allows unmetered air into the engine....

Replace the mirror. There is a tiny worm gear inside of these things and they wear out like no ones business. You may beable to fix it, but I doubt you'll find the parts for it.

Thermostat. Mine failed enough for the car to get luke warm while driving, but not enough for good heat. Of course you know it failed while I'm about 20 minutes from Canada in January...

The fan is operated off of a signal from the ECM....

The fan is operated off of a signal from the ECM. If the control box on the fan can no longer work with the signal give from the ecm or vice versa, it will need to be replaced.

If you have about 30-40 minutes to take the Vanos off/reinstall it and another 20-30 minutes to clean it. It's simple and straight forward. I'd do it for you, but you're not upstate.
