Just got told racv replace alternators? Would they use Bosch or their own brand anybody had one done by them? Reluctant to get them to supply one after a crappy experience with their batteries.

Because 1) they are all apprentices I notice at the dealers these days and 2) any time I've been to a different mechanic to my usual one something else has been tampered with on the car

BMW brighton told me it's $240 an hour labour...

BMW brighton told me it's $240 an hour labour considering they are all apprentices there I prefer to take my car to a BMW specialist rather than the actual dealer.

Thank you commando that's exactly what I mean. I can now see the piece but it's sagging a little so perhaps they haven't clipped it in properly when they refitted the rain sensor.

Sounds like heater fan is staying on

Something odd is happening when I turn the car off and sit in it for a bit I hear a whooshing noise like the heater or fan is still expelling air then it stops and will start up again then go off...
