It called wash down. Where the gas or cleaner washes the oil off of the cylinder walls.

Did your head bolts hold torque with the new time...

When the oil gets washed off of the cylinder walls, the rings do not seal as good and you loose compression. Putting in some oil helps to seal the rings and restore...

Probably window reguator wire came off. Will need new regulator. Make sure to ziptie your new regulator too. I never have problems with regulators that I ziptie.

I would not worry about it. The seals slide against the metal. The vanos piston does not contact metal to metal.

If you need a new vanos piston, I have one.
