And I didn't do anything to fix it....weird huh?

This leads me to believe that I may have some corroded contacts/connections going...

My 330i has the factory installed alarm system.

Up to about 2 months ago, it had been working fine.
It chirped once (and flash lights once) when I locked it and chirped twice (and flash lights...

What makes it even worst is when you make every effort to let them know that they're holding up traffic (i.e. flashing high-beam, honking, etc, etc) yet they still insist on...

The little nub should bottom-out just a tab above...

The little nub should bottom-out just a tab above the bolt that secures the strut to the hub/axel.
Just make sure you've loosen that bolt enough to all the strut body to slip in easily.
Then jiggle...

It may be true that the mounts are OEM...but you need to know that the threaded portion of the coilover assembly gets secured to the strut mount.
