Its the battery compartment for 4 cyl. vehicles! Earlier M3's had the DSC system there but i guess they moved it later... Mine's an '01 and has the DSC system in that location.

Just pull the cable off from your normal parking...

Just pull the cable off from your normal parking lights (the ones that are lit on your sig picture), wait about 30 seconds and you'll see that the turn indicators will light up instead. Notice this...

Why the hell are the lights still on? Somebody should've disconnected the battery...or maybe the local police wasnt smart enough to figure out that the battery is in the trunk... :facepalm:
