I think the easiest solution should be attempted first. Threads like this appear every day and even I had issues bleeding mine the first time. OP should properly bleed the system a few times first...

It's most likely an air bubble in the system. When it is completely cool, turn heater on and bleed system a few times. It should go away, I had the same issue.

I should have mentioned that I did swap to the electric fan during this time also. It has been working properly as well. I bled at least 2-3 times after the engine had cooled all of the way.
