I'm having the same problem just that in my case no fuse was ever blown up.
But i needed to take no' 28 out and back in to make the AC panel work.
I replaced the FSR last week.

Engine temp gauge up and down (cold engine)

My engine temp gauge goes up to the red section then back down to half,
the issue starts to appear on motor start in the morning when the engine is cold.
it stops for some time and come back after...
