I would first try clearing the codes and then try again. IIRC the cam sensor codes need to be cleared.
See if the code re-appears after that and how the car behaves.

Those figures would make the engine block about 15 inches longer than it is :rofl:

The mileage is held in the LCM, the light cluster and the key.

It may be worth disconnecting the battery for 10 minutes and see if it clears up.
Could be a battery problem, ignition switch problem or maybe a light check module problem - or even something else.
