Will a 325Xi exhaust fit non Xi vehicles?

Same as topic. Stock exhaust from a 2001 325Xi. Will it fit non Xi vehicles?

I'm looking at photos of the exhausts Xi vs non Xi and they look identical.

Any thoughts?

This noise became apparent after one heavy day of driving on twisty roads with heavy acceleration.
