Well just in case anyone in the future runs into the same problem I did, if your tranny doesnt want to take all gears after replacing the gps, you probably need to run the full transmission...

Well it turns out my issue with not taking 2, 4, 6 when cold was an adaptation issue. My mechanic friend with GT1 ran the "Adapt Transmission Fully" procedure on it and now it's working fine.

I've noticed it seems to only fail to engage 2-4-6 when the car is cold. I had a broken #6 compression spring about about a year ago, and the symptoms were a bit different, and didn't seem to matter...

Thanks. I tried the double paddle reset today, but it's hard to say whether it's done anything yet, since the every other gear behavior was intermittent.

I drove the car about 30 or so miles today...

Thanks for the input so far. Those CS.16s look sweet! I'm also thinking about some coilovers/or just a dampener and spring upgrade, but I can only do one or the other in the near term.

I just tried that and did not see it drop. There is very little movement inside the reservoir it looks as if the fluid is just sitting there--is this indicating its not flowing?
