Under the drivers seat there is an electrical connection that goes to two places: Air Bag sensor, and the YAW sensor. I have found two different Yaw sensors in e46;s so far, and not the blue one...

So got there 1 hour after car was in lot

And engine was unmolested, interior had some scavanging but not much. Radio and A/C controls still there. Airbag gone.
