is this a coolant sensor?

I found this broken wire that is connected to the bottom of the expansion tank. i have a coolant and service engine soon warning light. Is it bec of the wire was broken?

Finally replaced the cooler inlet and outlet. The Inlet is a PiA but with a little wiggle and pulling amd twisting it was done.

Well i just loosen the transmission shift linkage and was able to remove the bolt. Removed and replaced the outlet. Removed the inlet but can't seem to push the inlet cooler though. I will try again...

I could not tell if glossy though? I painted mine using automotivetouchup paint cans but I have to spray more than 3 coats though. It shines good but the color is a bit darker if you look closely.

That is where the leaks. You cannot re-use the temp sensor unless you replace the rubber o-ring. Buy the new temp sensor and it fix.
