Had to skim 13 thou off an E46 head done for my daughter's car last year and then used the 1mm (oversized) HG. I was told 12 thou was max skim allowable.

Assume you're at the 12 thou max already?....

Not the E46 but many years ago, strapped down and drove home an 8' x 4' sheet of 3/4" Ply, with my Carrera. It was not a Turbo but did have the turbo "Whale Tail" on the back. Interesting drive!
