the observations I read were was that the plastic seemed a bit too significant to just be for epoxy. Also, BMW didn't come up with the epoxy fix until years later if the documentation is correct...

Thanks. Similar part but that is the console side insert which is not broken on my seat. The door side insert is the broken one. It does not have that push button on it.
