Do not use a magic eraser on your trim unless you plan on applying a UV protectant afterwards. It will just end up looking worse after a couple months because you are removing whatever coating is on...

If the pad isnt rotating correction isn't happening. The pad needs to be completely flat with uniform pressure. You may need to get a 3 inch backing plate and pads for smaller areas.
