I have the adaptive headlights, and had the same problem. I soldered mine but it has broken again. I just bought a repair harness off ebay and will be installing that soon

The tcu is mounted against the rear seat on the left side of the trunk. I believe the passcode is printed on it. It is easy to get too, just pull out the left side and rear seat trim panels
