Just throwing this out there, push down on the rollover bars to make sure they are fully in the closed position. It sounds like a sensor under the back seat isn't working properly.

I re-did my calipers in the spring of last year....

I re-did my calipers in the spring of last year. They weren't rusty like the pics above, they needed a good cleaning. I cleaned them with a paint thinner rust remover type solvent with a wire brush...
