The "vacuum" hose isn't a vacuum hose. I've learned that it's an ambient air pressure line. Only the early E46s have a separate fuel pressure regulator that requires a vacuum line.

The differences are minimal. Remember that the oem amp has the audio system's crossovers built into the amp. Replacing the oem amp with an aftermarket amp will require that you install crossovers.

OP, I'd use a metric tap to clean out the threads in the hub. Those screws should back out unless they weren't properly torqued. Also, use a bit of anti-seize on the set screws.

Haven't any idea what fluid ZF (tranny manufacturer) puts in the tranny. As noted, Redline is the best stuff. That's why I use it.
