I pulled the intake apart to do a smoke test tonight. Once I got the MAF
off of the intake hose I saw "A" problem. The intake hose had 4 (!)
BIG cracks at each of the lower accordion pleats....

I changed the plugs on my '05 M56 today and I got this.
81K miles. Runs fine. I have never seen yellow spark plugs.

600-1000-1500 and then polished them with a $10 kit I got from Harbor Freight. Wow, really good for $10 and a 1/2 hour....
