Yes this is the definition of insurance fraud. As I said, manufacturers faults and wear and tear are not covered.

Also I never said replace, this post is about "repairs". All it needs is welding...

Hi Tahlia. I've seen a few people say they got it done for about $4,000. I am 99% sure it wouldn't be covered by ANY insurance policy because they cover accidents, not manufacturer's faults or wear...

I just had mine welded up by a friend and he charged me $500. Not sure how much it would normally be though. Apparently mine was very badly damaged and I didn't need a new sub frame..
