+1 for torque pro and an ELM 327 scanner. It won't read the BMW specific codes, but it works great for OBD2 codes and has a lot of other neat functions as well.

No, I was on level gound. It even done it trying to coast downhill. It stays in first and builds rpms instead of shifting to second as I pick up speed coasting downhill from my driveway.

I don't have any vibration in my pedal but they do make a little bit of noise, I attributed this to the slotted rotors and track pads that came with it. It still stops great, and they are fairly new...
