Front passenger outside trim replaced - possible damage. 65k on 2003 ZHP means ~5,500 miles a year. The car does not look like it was babied or that it was sitting in a garage for 5 years.

Bought a pair of Billstein (black body) rear shocks for 2004 330i only to discover that I indeed have sport springs and swaybars installed - went with KONI FSD instead.

I would disagree. I had a failed coil that resulted in cold start misfire with fuel cut-off on that cylinder.

The right thing to say here is "try swapping the coils and see if the problem follows...

well, I went ahead and put everything the way it was on the OEM shock, including bump stops, boots, spacers and caps. Koni integrated boot/cap seems somewhat flimsy compared to OEM under-mount cap.

I had to do VCG on my 47k 330i so I opted to do VANOS at the same time. This is my third time doing it. From start to finish it took me almost 5 hours. No negative performance symptoms in the car...
