Its hard to know whats causing the issues with everything still in. I dropped my entire rear subframe when i did my suspension refresh, so i know exactly what the bolts look like you're talking...

You don't need to worry about pre-loading the trailing arm bushing if you are going with poly bushings. If you go with OEM rubber bushings then you do and you will need this tool....
