It's a P-Channel 2.9A, 60V MOSFET in a SOT-223 package from Infineon. Part number BSP613P. I've never seen that part blow before. I wonder why it released the magic smoke.

The alarm will arm when you lock the doors and unarm when you unlock the doors. There is nothing special going on. Although if you used PASoft to enable the alarm function yourself it may not work...
