Did some more tests yesterday and noticed something, as soon as the car started to overheat I popped the hood and indeed the fan was not running. Switched engine off, then on, temperature continues...

It could be running the same 0W40 oil now with a messed oil filter after being involved in a couple of accidents. Probably needs a new cooling system too lol.

The only way to force the engine to overheat is to physically disconnect the fan. By disconnecting it, the AC does not operate and temperature does start to climb up after a couple of minutes idling....
