My dealer doesn't have the cap in stock, is it absolutely needed? The bleed screw is tightened down so no fluid is leaking at all.

just did CDV delete

I did the cdv delete last night and while bleeding the clutch, I lost the little rubber dust cap that goes on the clutch bleeder. Is it fine without it?

cooling system was all replaced at 98k. Next...

cooling system was all replaced at 98k. Next thing will probably be to address the CCV, is there anything else I should look at replacing? The valve cover gadget was also changed at 88k.

Should I even be concerned about it on my 330? I love this car, and am planning on keeping it for a while more (just hit 100k), but reading all these stories about failed oil pump nuts are starting...
