I wish I would get the nerve up to do this. Heck, I've done valvesprings on my LS1 Z28 in my driveway using TDC method.... I guess I just worry if something happens, I have nothing to drive..

I had the UHP's, they were ok, kind of soft sidewall. I liked the Nitto Neogens better. I'll either go with those Nittos or the new Hankooks.

I'm wondering if the Vanos affects the acceleration through the rpms. I was using about 50-60% throttle in 4th gear from say 42-45 mph and got a serious hesitation through the rpms.

The lower control arms are definitely weak stamped steel. They do have an alignment adjustment at the hub end (outboard). There is some sort of eccentric bolt/washer in there. I replaced mine...
