Not 100% sure but I think they should work. Typically the increase in wheel diameter is offset by a reduction in tire height. The outside diameter should be close. Other than looking ridiculous...

Huh? e46 non-M's are definitely known to burn a bit of oil. Not sure if its valve stems or rings, but it is definitely normal. The solution is to check your oil when you fill up on gas and top off...
