yeah this is like one of the hardest problems to diagnose. pretty much everyone has some different solution lol stupid bmw for making these annoying light combination stand for a plethora of problems.

Honestly I would just cut the bumper. You only need to shave it so that it would clear. Since you have a black car, you wouldn't notice the small gap as much as say my white car lol

Honestly, this was really only a problem in like the early days. Nowadays there are LEDs that work no problem in our cars. You really only run into problems if you get like a cheaper kit nowadays....
