im guessing the mechanic you are using is a bmw specialist and has the correct diagnostic equipment? might be worthwhile getting a dealership to read the codes?

Ignition coils keep failing...

hi guys,

on my 2003 325Ti in the last month, i have had 3 coils fail.

The car has just hit 180,000kms. Is it fairly normal for the coils to fail close to each other time wise?

Yes i changed the actual gasket for oil filter housing.

ive given the plastic under engine cover bit of a clean to make sure the oil that appeared wasn't the leftover after changing that gasket....

Strange vapour/mist/smoke coming out of AC vents

hi guys,

noticed something the other day while driving wife's 330ci.

The AC was on and I noticed bit of what looked like smoke/vapour coming out of the vents. it didnt have a smell or anything...
