It's good to keep a habit of using the handbrake to keep it working and properly adjusted.. I notice alot of cars that don't use the handbrake, its very sloppy and sometimes the joints get rotted up...

sorry that was a dumb question lol, i misunderstood. You could try using a claybar kit by mequiars and give it a coat of wax after.. I actually used plain lighter fluid to get the sticky stuff off...
