They are, but they're also high maintenence. Its a car that's almost designed to require extra fuss and attention. That's the trade off for a car that feels and performs the way it does. (IMO)

Maybe in SoCal or Florida they do. Even rough/high milers rarely dip below $15k in Seattle or Portland though from what I've seen. Just a supply and demand thing.
