A wire may be broken inside the insulation. If you don't have a light, you have a short or a break somewhere. Check with a 12 volt test light to ground. Or from battery (+) to ground wire or live...

Look at my post on 'License Plate Lights Out' repair, of a few days ago...the wiring loom wires in the rubber corrugated tube between the trunk lid and the trunk are broken. Happens to all Beemers....

Agree...But not generally torn down regularly with street hot rodders. I'm making the point here that a car doesn't need filters...that's all. A lot of people here think that cars will not run...
