It really depends on the dealer. When I had the passenger airbag done, I got a new 3-series. Same when I have my fuel tank replaced under the SULEV warranty....

yea, INPA and NCS is a bit tricky to setup, you'll definitly want a car available to test it out. I would also second in getting PA Soft 1.4. BMW scanner, much much easier to setup and use.
