The diff oil change completely eliminated my noise...the noise almost sounded like a tire rubbing the wheel well...more when turning left than right...I have seen other threads on it...

Not sure if this matters...

I just took my M3 in for the inspection 1 service and also told them that I had a strange grinding noise/rubbing noise coming from the rear of my car. More when I would make a tight turn or turn left...

I thought I was crazy...I was always told that my car was governed at 155. I had mine out this past summer doing 165+ with no hint of any kind of speed limiter. Mine is bone stock as well.
